◆◆The World Needs a Hero... ◆◆

He's back. The monster. I feel him. Under my skin, in my head. He's everywhere. the urge. I can't stop it.

The city itself was quiet- had been since a solution to the zombies invasion had been discovered. The dead were cremated. Graveyards were all but extinct. The zombies themselves were all but extinct... or so many thought. These creatures were evolving, their intelligence growing, and with it, the progress of the disease. With the last of the zombies hidden away, they have devised a plan to dominate the population again and force the humans to bend to their will. Disguising himself as a human, a rogue zombie infiltrates the human population, infecting the human in charge of the disposal of the dead. Fleeing the city limits, he lets the disease manifest in the human... allows the monster within to gain sentience and power. Not able to turn these dead to dust, the dead are allowed to rise again. As their numbers grow, the zombies attack the city, terrorizing the humans. You-- infected, but not yet wholly overcome by the beast within-- sees the devastation wrought on the populace. With loved ones threatened by the curse of the undead, you cannot stand by and watch the terror unfold without doing something. Fighting the infection, you must rise above it and dominate these foes as you defend the human population.
