Taxi1 is a free application that allows you to order a taxi, track the progress of a trip and pay for a trip faster than ever. With the Taxi1 application, you order a Taxi unit taxi in the Kuopio, Siilinjärvi and Joensuu areas.

The app will automatically locate your location. Before submitting your order, you will receive a summary of your order. You can refine your location on the map, enter your address yourself, select it from your order history or from your own favorites. By providing the destination address of your trip, the app will estimate the estimated price of the taxi trip for you. When ordering, you can also choose the car type and payment method. Pre-ordering is also possible. The order is free of charge. If you want to use the application to pay for the ride without a car payment, you can enter the desired payment card information into the application. If you do not want your taxi trip to be charged to the card you have entered into the service, you can choose the ride payment method “Pay by taxi” when ordering. In this case, you can normally pay for your trip in the car with cash or the most common payment cards.

The application shows the status of your order. Once a free car has been found for your order, you can track the arrival of the car on the map. The app will also tell you the number of the incoming taxi. If necessary, you can send additional instructions to the driver via the application regarding your pick-up location in the "Message to driver" section.

When a taxi arrives at your pick-up address, the app notifies you (with a phone shake) of the taxi's arrival. If necessary, the driver ensures, by comparing the order number with the one in the application, that the ordered car is just for you.
