I woke up to hear knocking on glass. Sitting up, I rubbed the sleep from my eyes. The clock blinked 12:00 in blaring red colors; a telling sign that the storm raging outside had temporarily cut off power. A shock of lightning rent the sky and illuminated my bedroom in a sudden flash of light before plunging it again into darkness. Again, the knock. At first I thought it was the window, either someone knocking at it, or a branch being thrown against it during the raging winds. Certainly no one could be outside in this nightmare weather, but neither did it sound like a routed branch. The room was silent beyond the howling winds and slashing rains that pounded the earth beyond my bedroom. Within these four walls there was utter silence. Not even the tick of a clock, nor even the sound of my breath, which I held awaiting another knock. There it was. This time I heard it loud and clear. I turned to my mirror, tiptoed over to it, but the reflective pane showed me nothing more than the shadow of my reflection. Or so I thought. I squinted as the pane reflected a startling scene. Was that...? I whipped my head around, looking for the prowler who lurked in the background, but my bedroom was blessedly still. After my heartbeat steadied, I turned back to the mirror. Though the room was too dark to see much, there was something odd about the reflection. Taking one step back, I felt a sudden stab of fear, then in the next second, my reflection's hand thrust out of the pane and wrapped its chilled fingers around my wrist. With a jerk, the shadow me pulled me through the window to the other side, where the prowler was most evident...

You have been summoned to the Other Side, where you have been challenged. The only way you can return to your side is to survive a series of extreme challenges that will test your worthiness. If you succeed, you will be granted a safe return, but if not... your shadow self will be freed into your realm and you will be stuck in this mirror dimension forever. It will take quick thinking and whatever weapons you can find in order to survive the dangers set before you. Utilize a range of weapons including knife, katana, M1911, M4, MP5, shotgun, sniper, and AK-47 or go hand-to-hand for the ultimate combat experience. If used strategically, your surroundings can be used to your benefit, particularly exploding barrels placed throughout each level. Use them wisely for the best effect. Collect ammo and health packs, but beware that these perks steadily decrease as you progress through the levels. Your entity map will offer great aerial views of oncoming enemies so you will always be prepared. Shoot fast and kill to survive.
