ContactCzar allows you to search for phone numbers stored on your cell phone REMOTELY with the help of a simple Text message. This app is small, simple and very easy to use.

ContactCzar is a life saver if you've forgotten your Android phone somewhere and need to retrieve important phone numbers from your contact list immediately.

All you need to do is send an SMS to your phone -

Get contact [NAME]

and you get an immediate reply with the names and phone numbers matching the given name!

Example -

* get contact a

(searches for all names that contain the letter "a")

* get contact dad

To avoid unauthorized access to your contacts, you can set a PIN (4-digit Personal Identification Number) which will be known only to you. Once set, you can only get contacts by specifying this code in the SMS like this -

[PIN] get contact [NAME]

Example - The PIN is set to 1234

* 1234 get contact a

* 1234 get contact dad

Please note that by default, the PIN is not set.

'Split Message' is another cool feature of ContactCzar. When searching for a name, the search may return many names and numbers which won't all fit into one reply message. Hence, a "..y?" is attached to the end of the first message indicating that there's more. If you want the next part, send a "y" or a "yes".

The best part of ContactCzar is that it has a very low Memory Footprint i.e it is very light on your phone's resources.
